Dan Lembo, who competed on the twenty first season of Survivor in 2010, has died. Lembo’s passing at age 75 occurred on September 3 at his residence in Manhattan; a explanation for loss of life has not been offered.
Lembo was 63 when he appeared on Survivor: Nicaragua. Well liked by fellow contributors, he endured till the ultimate 5, being voted out on Day 37.
After being eradicated, he informed Folks, “I didn’t play Survivor for cash. I needed the journey. I’m the kind of man who sees a problem and thinks, ‘I may try this.’ So I needed to be a part of this loopy sport — and I did fairly properly, I’d say! I made it actually far.”

Lembo is survived by his sons, Matthew and Michael, their spouses, 5 grandchildren and former spouse Barbara.
